Production Services in Spain for an ARTE 42 Documentary on Matrescence
POPULAR PICTURES provided a bilingual camera crew and production support in Barcelona, Spain for an ARTE 42 documentary exploring matrescence, the physical, psychological and neurological transition into motherhood. Our camera team filmed documentary footage in Barcelona and produced professionally lit interviews with a neuroscientist contributing specialist insight to the programme. A key part of the production was our bi directional live streaming setup, connecting the interview set in Barcelona directly with the editorial team in Germany. We streamed the camera viewfinder and interviewee audio to Germany in real time, while the German editor appeared live on a large screen positioned in front of the contributor. This allowed her to conduct the interview remotely with a natural face to face dynamic.
